Every Relationship is a Mirror

I always noticed that my mom had a special talent for finding the good in people. No matter who she met, she always had something nice to say about them. It wasn’t until I was older that I realized the power of this mindset.

My mom’s ability to focus on the positive not only made her happier and more content, but it also had a big impact on how others saw her. People were attracted to her warmth and kindness, and as a result, she formed really strong relationships with those around her.

After my mom passed away in 2019, I decided to try and follow her example. I chose to let go of bitterness and negativity, and instead focus on loving everyone in my life unconditionally. The results have been amazing. My relationships have become deeper and more loving because of this change in my perspective.

I’ve come to understand that the way we see others has a huge effect on our relationships with them. By choosing to see the good in others, we can create positive and loving connections that enrich our lives and the lives of those around us. This made me think of each relationship as a mirror that reflects how we feel about the other person. And it’s not just with people – this goes for all our relationships, like with our homes and work and rest of the worldly things. It’s such a magical power that we all have.

So, what do I see in this relationship mirror? Don’t I like what I see? The power is within me to transform that reflection.
